Bernie Sanders followers are like college grads working at Starbucks, staying up all night because they get a free lb. of coffee beans/week.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
There's a left-wing myth that libertarians are anti-government. I would say that it's more of a profound skepticism of government monopoly.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
Populists like Trump and Sanders are charlatans who promise that unlike other political whores they are pure of heart and for "the people".— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
The fat lady has sung. The party is over for Chris Christie, who is leaving the 2016 race. His last mistake: going after Rubio vs. Trump.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
The people betting on Trump to bring jobs and economic growth to the American economy are even dumber that his creditors and investors.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
Ask the former workers during Trump's four bankruptcies how economically secure that he made them feel. He used banktuptcy to shed his debts— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
How were you raised?A deal is a deal; you live up to your word; you pay off your debts? Trump loses other people's money and he's OK wi that— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
Trump's followers are no better than Obama's. Remember the greed of people who went after "Obama money"? Obama didn't earn that money.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
I'm tired of socialists trolling pro-liberty forums. There is nothing noble about stealing other people's property since you outnumber them.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016

I have had my fill of so-called revolutionaries. Sanders called his movement a "political revolution", and Trump-fawning Breitbart said same— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016
There is nothing revolutionary about populism. It is basically factionalism, a corruption of our democratic republic. Read Federalist #10.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) February 10, 2016

(Reason). Under-30s dig both socialism and libertarianism more than the average American does. What does that mean?
Both of them represent an anti-establishment perspective (rebellion against authority is common among teens and young adults) and a certain ideological purity vs. pragmatic politics as usual. You have more of a revolutionary paradigm shift of perspective. Paul reveals that the State itself is corrupt, while Sanders preaches the myth that evil plutocrats pervert the innocent State.
Good response. You could have went with the usual these kids are stupid and I'm a smart libertarian because the free marke will fix itself. Which has nothing to do with the fact that libertarians have no candidate and the best one they had, Ron Paul IMHO, had no where near the following Bernie has. Why? Because the majority of people will not defend the hooray for me and fuck you attitude of the typical Libertarian.
The typical libertarian is more of a realist about the intrinsic failures and hubris of the anti-competitive centralized government. You simply have an irrational fear of a free market and its dynamic nature and don't see the opportunity costs of what would have happened without corrupt government intervention. Why aren't more idealists in the Paul camp? I think in part it seems more paradoxical that a libertarian would want to be part of the political establishment and would want to downsize it. It's harder for young people to see the way the invisible hand works. Legislation is something tangible. Younger people are typically ignorant of economics, the law of comparative advantage, the law of supply and demand, the reality of regulatory capture, etc.
(end of exchange)
Intellectually lazy accusation. It's easy to separate those of you who give a shit about the meaning of words and those that don't. You don't see Bernie supporters going around calling Rand Paul folk anarchists, at least I haven't seen it. But carry on, as soon as I see Socialism/Communism I know I can immediately dismiss your intelligence.
That's because Bernie Sanders is an economic illiterate in a state of denial, idiot.
