A minimalist approach to essential, transparent, accountable, flat, adaptable, responsive, solution-based government, rooted in virtuous individual autonomy, traditional values and free markets, with a bias towards reduction of government functionality, cost and scope
No obstacles fell in his way that seemed to him insurmountable.
He might be defeated, as he sometimes was,
but he shrank from no hardship through impatience,
he fled from no danger through cowardice.

Thomas Massie's America First
While I greatly admire Massie, especially during Trump's attacks on him, I completely disagree with Massie on COVID-19 vaccines (and producer Tom Woods is obsessed with COVID policy (he personally unsubscribed me from his signature email subscription over my email response); he caught COVID early and argued hybrid immunity (natural plus vaccine) did not improve over natural immunity. Note, there are individual differences/factors at play which complicate general discussions, but both types of immunity wane, and natural prior unprotected infections can have dangerous complications, and evidence challenges Massie's dismissal of hybrid protection. Further note that either type of immunity does not protect against modest (vs. severe) infection by newer variants

McClanahan on Federalism is the Reason for the Season
To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws, to be led by permanent ideals - that is what keeps a man patient when the world ignores him, and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. - Honore De Balzac

10th Amendment Explained: Tench Coxe on State vs Federal Power
This is a pre-Election 2016 episode and some of his points did not work out well:
For the purpose of creating conflict and confusion, some in the Fake News Media are saying that it is the Governors decision to open up the states, not that of the President of the United States & the Federal Government. Let it be fully understood that this is incorrect....
And don't get me started on Trump's meddling with the 2020 state election results. As to Trump's foreign policy. this is the guy who launched missiles into Syria, assassinated an Iranian government official and outbombed Obama in Afghanistan.
2Pac, "How Do You Want It?" I've been faithfully embedding #1 hits since the 60's, even hits I don't care for, like this one. (I don't care for rap or hip hop at all.) Another example: most singles by Mariah Carey (to me, they all start sounding alike) and Janet Jackson. Enough! I stopped listening to pop music over a decade ago and probably will end the series/theme on or before then. Until then, I may in the interim list a relevant song and say something like "opt out" and provide a Youtube link for the interested reader; If there are too many I may tweak the theme to "Selected #1 Hits" and cherry pick the selections.
