A Perversion of Justice: Houston Grand Jury Indicts a Ham Sandwich

Political Potpourri

Lots of NH polls all showing Trump with a 10-20 point lead over Rubio and it appears that Cruz is battling Kasich for third. (There are individual poll variances.)  It looks like Trump is retreating to the 29-30 level. I think I would need to see Rubio to get within 5 points or so to think an upset is possible. At this point, I think a huge turnout, which ordinarily might favor Trump, may actually help other candidates; if Iowa started a trend, it showed most Trump voters made up their minds earlier than later, and Trump's missteps, like skipping the Iowa debate, backfired.

ABC will hold a debate this weekend (tomorrow night); this is particularly important for Trump, Carson and the governors: Trump may need to stabilize his campaign this week's setbacks, including a Trumpertantrum after his loss, accusing Cruz of "fraud"; for Carson and the governors, it may be make or break: if they can't place, it looks like effectively a 3-man race going into SC and FL. Bush may have the resources to stick it out through FL. Ironically, it's to Trump's advantage to have as many candidates as possible to keep his large plurality. A NH loss, although improbable, would probably accelerate Trump's meltdown

Oh, HELL NO! As a Rand Paul supporter, I am pro-liberty, and there is nothing economically liberal about the left-fascist Sanders. Sanders is a parasite-demagogue.

Jim Croce, "Operator (That's Not the Way It Feels)". This is such a great story song, like Bread's "Diary", Chapin's "Taxi" or "Cats in the Cradle". I'm not sure today's young people understand there used to be such a profession. I know they were being phased out by the mid-80's.
