We know that the Japanese were upset at FDR's anti-Japan decisions in the lead up to Pearl Harbor and Pearl Harbor was a logical target.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 13, 2016

It turns out that Donald Trump has an alter ego John Miller. I think he read too many comic books in his youth. Bruce Wayne was taken.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 13, 2016
It is amazing what has happened since Trump became the presumptive nominee after Indiana. Clinton recently had opened up a double-digit lead— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016
Clinton's lead is still about 6 overall, but Trump is closing in on key battleground states like OH, PA, and FL. Trump ahead for Hispanics?— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016
I suspect that this is more a honeymoon effect as more Republicans try to rationalize supporting Trump as the de facto nominee.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016
Clinton has still not put away Bernie Sanders; although expected wins next Tuesday would almost take her there. By June 7, Trump and Clinton— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016
Trump campaign guru Manafort is a piece of work. On Sunday talk soup he tried to spin the double standard of not financing general campaign.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016
Under Trump's bizarre self-serving standard he is not corrupt by virtue of his celebrity and wealth. Forget chapter 11, contributions.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016
Just another example of Trump's economic illiteracy: this bizarre attack on Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, who separately owns WashPo: "monopoly".— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) May 14, 2016

There is something intriguing about a fellow geek becoming President. Gary Johnson got on my bad side by suggesting bakers shouldn't have the option of deciding whether they can turn down business (e.g., "gay weddings"). This video is interesting but not clearly focused; there is some fearmongering going on; He's trying to argue national defense is at stake; it's not clear other than arguing obsolescence, we know the size and scope of the danger, the nature of federal policy failures, whether and to what extent we are misallocating funds to threats, what is the public policy position on the national grid, which is a hodgepodge of public and private funded, etc. Is he wanting to impose centralized controls over private providers? He's not doing a good job explaining the pro-liberty side of the issue (beyond assertion of privacy rights) and how he plans to address it. For God's sake, if he suggests a toothless task force, I'm going to scream. Where's the beef, John? Don't just scare folks silly.
