Making the decision to have a child
it's momentous.
It is to decide forever
to have your heart go walking around outside your body.

What's the difference between NY, which Trump carried with more delegates, and Wisconsin, which Cruz carried? Trump will not win WI or NY.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
Cruz will extend his losses past NY next Tuesday with a likely Trump majority win in Delaware and majority/plurality wins elsewhere.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
I was tweeting a month ago the end of April would be a tough slog for Cruz. The pundits will argue that Cruz is not competitive in the NE.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
The fact is that Trump is going to need every delegate he can milk from next Tuesday because May will be good for Cruz.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
Now on Tuesday Trump will likely ensure Cruz won't get to 1237 on the first ballot. Expect Trump and his cultists to demand Cruz to withdraw— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
However, even with the Ron Paul rule in effect, Cruz has more than the 8 state wins necessary to put his name in nomination. Not Kasich.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
The issue about the NE being bad for Cruz just reflects the difficulty of Republicans in the NE period. The GOP has most success at governor— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
I'm somewhat amused by musical artists like Springsteen and Walsh who decide to boycott certain places due to their progressive politics.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
Guess what, progressive musicians? I boycott artists who haven't recorded any decent material since the 1980's. Borng me with PC politics?— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
While I was on UWM faculty I was working in my office late one night & took a bathroom break. Two guys rushed past me & went into same stall— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
On a different occasion I went to fill my hotpot (instant coffee), when I nearly gagged over an overpowering stench. Room smeared with feces— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
I called the university police. "You'll never believe what happened." "Try me." I describe the bathroom. "Yeah, druggies. Sooner or later.."— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
He explained it had happened on the lower floors and it was just a matter of time before they made it up to my floor. Someone hosed it down.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
I've really not gotten into the current LGBT bathroom kerfuffle. I've seen the occasional dad come in with a wide-eyed young daughter.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
Since the ADA act, we've seen more prevalent use of family style, unisex, or single-user (handicapped) public restrooms allowing privacy.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
Gov. McAuliffe (D-VA) has triggered the latest firestorm by unilaterally extending voting privileges to some 200,000 ex-felons. A mixed bag.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
In general, I'm sympathetic to the argument of taxation without representation, and certainly former felons must pay taxes. On the other hand— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
it seems clear that McAuliffe is following Obama's lead in lawlessness. You simply don't have the authority to pick & choose laws to enforce— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
RNC Chair Reince Priebus, Mr. Establishment, has zero patience with the #NeverTrump movement. Ask me if I give a damn what Priebus thinks.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
Maybe Priebus should ask how it's possible that the GOP would nominate someone who is a recent Democrat who has supported Obama & Clinton.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
@Prdtohaveserved I'm aware that Priebus is not going to back down on the 1237. But Trump's path is 53% of remaining delegates--doable.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 22, 2016
The Trump cultists are in a state of denial. They think by threatening a progressive SCOTUS, they will force our support. #NeverTrumpEVER— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
If you relly want to keep Clinton out of the White House, you should have never supported the fascist who loses to her worst #NeverTrumpEVER— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
@AlexNowrasteh The motive seems to have been a transgender rights ordinance that was passed in Charlotte, NC. Local regulations anti-liberty— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
@4MrBreitbart Agreed. GOP Presidential SCOTUS picks have also been notoriously bad, too. Trump like any politician makes unkept promises.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
I have mixed feelings about the transgender kerfuffle in NC. Philosophically I don't like central state authority trumping local authority.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
On the other hand, I've never really bought into the public accommodations regulations imposing on private businesses. The market is better— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
I don't care if gay bakers discriminate against straights or if straight bakers discriminate against gays.I do care when the govt uses force— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
Why shouldn't straight photographers or bakers have the right to specialize in traditional marriages? Or if I decide your money is good here— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
Trump's new campaign manager claims that "Mr. Hyde" Donald Trump is an act, that "Dr. Jekyll" Donald Trump will win us over this fall.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
I don't care if Pope Francis does an exorcism on "Mr. Hyde" Donald Trump, Paul Manafort. We geeks have a word for it: WYSIWYG. #NeverTrump— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
Donald Trump again channels his inner Rich Little: "Then in a fake Indian accent, he impersonated someone responding, “We are from India.”— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
I mean, Trump's impression of a disabled reporter went over so well, why not play into Indian stereotypes? I should have figured after 7/11.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
Donald Trump has now admitted that he can't eliminate the national debt in 2 terms of office. Tinkerbell: not enough magical pixie dust.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
Libertarian Party Debate Post-AuditThe Justice Department just dropped a second court case against Apple when someone gave them the passcode to a drug dealer's phone.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 23, 2016
I will say the geek in me enjoys McAfee's persona, the short "Yes, good sir!" type responses. I don't know what the hell happened in Central America, but he's certainly colorful; it's not everyone who marries a former prostitute. None of them strike me as a Ron Paul type--I do think they have the right positions on the major issues.
