Making the decision to have a child
it's momentous.
It is to decide forever to have your heart
go walking around outside your body.

York's Examiner piece argues 2 Trump blunders: campaign hubris after MI, FL; running a more divisive campaign in second phase.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
Basically, Trump did not deploy and/or quickly laid off campaign staff before locking up the nomination which played to Cruz' advantage.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
Second, Trump is like a boxer who habitually drops his hand. He trains against it, gets his bell rung, reverts to habit, then gets KO'ed.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
Trump thinks the same rules don't apply. Unforced blunders: his evasive response about David Duke; his retweet of wife comparison; abortion.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
And of course there's Trump's insane defense of Lewandowski over the Michelle Fields incident.Maybe it's hubris after Kelly, McCain,Fiorina— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
NY Post Endorses: The post-pivot Trump needs to be more presidential: better informed on policy, more self-disciplined & less thin-skinned.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
I didn't know the New York Post does comedy. Pretty funny stuff. Just like Ben Carson's "There's a good Trump and a bad Trump." MANIPULATOR.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016

Of course, left-populist Pope Francis is letting himself be used by left-fascist Bernie Sanders. Not the 1st time the Vatican faces fascism.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016

Bernie Sanders is too old to play the part of the stiff in "Weekend at Bernie's",— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016
I wonder what Pope Francis has in common with an atheist cultural Jew like Bernie Sanders. Both promote State redistribution schemes.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 15, 2016

Sirico On Bernie Goes To the Vatican
Fr. Sirico a former leftist, is a free market priest who heads the Acton Institute; if I don't have it on my blogroll, I'll put it there over the weekend. I don't like the low volume on this clip. Just a hint for those interested. I use a freeware product VLC to play downloaded clips, and there is a tweak to settings which will allow you to increase volume up to 3 times max. There are a number of ways to download video clips from Youtube (e.g., keepvid.com). Finally for those interested in Saint John Paul II's encyclical Centesimus Annus (the conference is celebrating its silver anniversary), see here. By the way, the Church doesn't support socialism, democratic or otherwise; and note that Francis did not meet with Bernie Sanders. Whereas Bernie may have honeymooned in the USSR, St. John Paul lived in Poland, occupied by the USSR, and was no fan of its unjust system.
