ICYMI: Shortly after advocating punishing women for having abortions, Trump now finds Roe v Wade in the Constitution. Trump is unprincipled.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
You cannot be pro-life and a Trump supporter.he played to pro-abort propaganda on abortion laws; then he reverts to a pro-abort perspective.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
From a Constitutional perspective, murder/abortion is almost exclusively a state responsibility under police powers (Tenth Amendment).— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Donald Trump fundamentally doesn't understand the federalism construct. He thinks of the states as subordinate to the federal government.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
The fact that Trump's 'very good brain' doesn't get it was clear the other day when he listed healthcare and education as federal priorities— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Of course, Bernie Sanders also lists education and healthcare as federal priorities. Donald Trump is simply running in the wrong party.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
But Trump's positions aren't even internally consistent. Take education; one of his persistent talking points is against Common Core.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Let's dismiss he doesn't understand Common Core. He wants local control; why? Does he favor local control, say, for marijuana liberalization— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
But Trump listed education as one of his top FEDERAL policy preferences. In what way if he favors LOCAL CONTROL? It's convoluted.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
I think Trump is all about seat of the pants populism. He says what he thinks the people want to hear. When he gets blowback, he changes.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
So, for instance, Trump is big on law and order. That means when somebody breaks a law, he should be punished. If women break abortion laws.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Trump's politics don't get more complicated than that superficial type of analysis. As for education, he's simply paying lip service to it.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Yes, the children are our future. Education is an investment in their future. What about transferring our debt and entitlements to them?— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Going back to Donald Trump's education, as a rich man's son, he never went to public school. Because of behavioral issues (no, REALLY?) NYMA— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Why is it only well-to-do parents should have real education choice for their children, escaping overregulated, union-dominated monopolies?— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Isn't Sarah Palin's 15 minutes of fame over? This bizarre claim that the govt entices immigrants with bears and soccer balls is about Beck.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
@glennbeck back in 2014 held a charity event to provide toys to refugee children trying to escape Central American oppression. Humanitarian.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
The idea that Trump is entitled to the nomination if he has the largest plurality vs. majority of delegates is hubris. Game rules apply.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Nominating Donald Trump is a GOP death wish. Trump has already played the card of reneging on his party commitment.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
On Trump's threat to have Trumpkins riot at the convention if Trump doesn't get his way: one word: tasers.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
Cruz needs to stop trying to out-crazy Trump. Big Government INS and Big Government foreign intervention are not limited government.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
The Great Wall of Trump would require eminent domain, which even if you ignore its ineffectiveness and expense, would be time-consuming.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016
@realDonaldTrump And unicorns will crap ice cream. Listen, Sleazy Donald, stop promising things you know you can't deliver. Political whore.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) April 2, 2016

(IPI). BREAKING: Chicago Public Schools files charges against Chicago Teachers Union for 'illegal' strike http://illin.is/1Rqx4gi
Why is this strike illegal but CPS closing schools last week and telling the teachers and students not to show up was legal?
Moron doesn't understand the difference between administration discretion and illegal union actions.
(Acton Institute). “ISIS is committing genocide — the “crime of crimes” — against Christians and other religious groups in Syria, Iraq and Libya,” says a joint report by the Knights of Columbus and In Defense of Christians. “It is time for the United States to join the rest of the world by naming it and by taking action against it as required by law.”
The US government has been committing genocide in Muslim nations for decades. What is surprising about retribution? It is unfortunate that it is directed a Christians rather than politicians and arms merchants.
Don't be a RETARD, OP. I happen to be a non-interventionist, but arguing, outside of isolated incidents which have been prosecuted, the US has engaged in genocide is morally offensive and wildly out of line with the facts. We are not talking about blowback to the West--we are talking about genocide of religious minorities.
(Cato Institute). "What Donald Trump doesn’t want you to know about his plan to build a 'Great Wall' between the U.S. and Mexico: He’d need to steal private property from Americans to build it."
Does CATO imply that a land owner would prefer to be a passageway to the traffic than have a fence? Good fences make good neighbors. By the way the browser couldn't find your link.
http://www.cato.org/.../great-wall-trump-would-be...
No, if the landowner wants fences, the government shouldn't subsidize them. And if I'm a landowner and don't want an eyesore at my property line, the government has no right. If I don't mind Mexican neighbors visiting, it's my business, not yours. Plus there is no legitimate public use to my land. Does the government have a right to burden my coastal beach property--even if foreign ships could navigate it?
(The Hill). "Knowing that Trump won on [immigration], it should empower you to go ahead and ask the candidates, 'What the heck are you thinking, candidates? What are you thinking when you're going ahead and actually asking for more immigrants, illegal immigrants, welcoming them in, even inducing and seducing immigrants with gift baskets of teddy bears and soccer balls?' " Sarah Palin said.
Knowing that Donald Trump has never won a single contest to date with a clear majority, even now his opposition has shrunk to 2 candidates, and knowing that in each and every contest immigration has placed LAST in voters' priorities, Sarah Paliln should shut up about immigration until she sees Russians on her front porch.
