Anonymous pamphlets, leaflets, brochures and even books have played an important role
in the progress of mankind.
Persecuted groups and sects from time to time throughout history have been able
to criticize the oppressive practices and laws either anonymously or not at all...
It is plain that anonymity has sometimes been assumed for the most constructive purposes.

O'Reilly suspects there's an "un-American" entertainer boycott of the Trump inauguration. I think they're just worried over being FIRED.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 4, 2017
I'm stunned to learn Hillary Clinton advocated an open market and open immigration for the Americas: first smart policy from a Democrat.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 4, 2017
I'm sure that an open Americas policy would make the Alex Jones wackos heads explode. They would be protesting "globalist conspiracies".— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 4, 2017
I think that it's just a case where Hillary Clinton stumbled onto economic literacy in her desire to contrast her views from Trump.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 4, 2017
A rare kudos to Trump for keeping the GOP House from shooting themselves in the foot by gutting the House ethics committee.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 4, 2017
Donald Trump's tariff threats are aimed at consumers and employees of companies that export. Competition means a higher standard of living.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 5, 2017
Trump's use of tariffs to regressively tax lower income people is hardly populist: the government get richer, and the poor get poorer.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 5, 2017
I think the CEO's of Carrier and Ford are insane to let an economically illiterate buffoon like Trump establish a precedent of intimidation— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 5, 2017
Kudos to Thomas Massie and Rand Paul for introducing long overdue legislation to audit the Fed. And while we're at it, the rest of the govt.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 5, 2017
Johan Norberg gets a rare one wrong. It is true that trade deals are managed, not free. But consumers are better off https://t.co/AKJB7FUG5X— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 5, 2017

DEAD WRONG: Free Trade Is Trade Pacts

(See Norberg video above). Actually, Norberg is dead wrong in this case. You have to argue: are trade pacts an improvement over the status quo? Are consumers better off? Hell, yes. They may be suboptimal to the ideal of unilateral free trade, but Johan is not making that argument. Norberg would be on better footing if he took on the myth that trade pacts constitute free trade.
