UH Cougars 10-Game Football Winning Streak Snapped at CT

For the second week in a row, they mounted a furious fourth quarter comeback, including a kickoff return, but came up a field goal short. I suspect that my posting a supportive commentary last weekend is probably like the infamous SI cover curse. Trying to keep track via page refreshes on an ESPN sports webpage is almost impossible. It looks like UH was plagued by turnovers and the top two quarterbacks were dealing with recent injuries, the backup who had started the game was hit late. I don't think UH was heading for the football playoffs anyway given its largely unranked schedule. I do think they finish the regular season with Navy, possibly a conference championship game and hopefully one of the better bowl games.

(Ron Paul). Did they attack Paris because the French are so free? Sadly even many libertarians repeat this meaningless phrase. It is not excusing terrorism to want to understand the motivation of terrorists. Why do they attack? They're motivated by Western nations bombing their countries into dust, and then occupying their lands. I shared my thoughts on this with Kennedy on Fox Business yesterday. How do you think it went? Watch the segment at the link:
Did America Contribute To Blowback In Paris? http://bit.ly/1S9N6Jk
Enough with this absurd blowback bullshit! These radicals don't need an excuse. The Yazidis did nothing for ISIS to target their genocide. The persecution of Christians in Syria, Iraq, and North Africa is similarly unwarranted. Islam for centuries spread by military conquest, not by application of the non-aggression principle. And their murderous attacks are fueled by propaganda, not some impartial court decided to the truth by rules of evidence; they are recruiting/training Western Muslim malcontents to attack innocent fellow citizens.

This is not to say that the meddling of Western powers is prudent, without unintended consequences, especially by creating victims in collateral damage. But I have no doubt some atrocities are being falsely scapegoated on Western democracies or Israel.
