"Tom Coburn" is absolutely correct: health care pricing has departed from free market pricing. "Price lists; how can you price health?"— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
Surgery Center of Oklahoma posts guaranteed, all-inclusive prices online. Medicare rules prohibit that, so no Medicare accepted "Tom Coburn"— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
It's sad to see the left-fascists desperately attacking TrumpCare in an attempt to prop up the failing ObamaCare program.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
TrumpCare deserved to be attacked--but for the right reason (it's a failed surrogate for a legitimate free market). No Big Govt "solution"!— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
A lot of hospitals obfuscate pricing. It reminds me of an East European mover I had hired for a local move.$20 charge to carry a framed print— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
It reminds me of a time I once had to pay for a medical test out of my own pocket when I was out of work I had to prepay. Later +$75 charge— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
The ecofascists no longer control the White House. Trump reverses Obama's corrupt special-interest decision. "Keystone XL"— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
Who gets exploited by absurd, obfuscated hospital charge masters? Not the government or insurance companies with bargaining power. You.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017
What the anti-Keystone ecofascists fail to point out is other modes of oil transport, including Warren Buffett rail or ship, pose risks.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) March 24, 2017

Is America in Retreat?
I have to say I'm a non-interventionist, and I especially disagree with the "America in Retreat" author featured in a couple of videos below. I am not an isolationist in the sense I believe free trade and migration alleviate, don't exacerbate global tensions I just have higher barriers to entry on American involvement and recoil from paranoid theories. I do think that America's interventions are morally hazardous, often counterproductive and fiscally unsustainable. The "broken window" theory described below is basically a variation of the tragedy of commons; will other nations engage in bullying behavior if America practices a less activist foreign policy? Perhaps. But empires are unsustainable, and our involvement basically displaces regional leadership.
No, not the broken window fallacy. This is like what happens when property is not maintained...
Cato Institute: The Driverless Cars Are Coming
I found this discussion utterly absorbing, including left-fascist attempts to identify, control or ration driving. improved efficiency and logistics of existing capacity, alternative methods of road funding, etc.
