I wonder if Democrats without lame duck Obama will now become more sensitive over the Executive Branch's grab of power from Congress..— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 12, 2016
I don't recall campuses offering conservative students counseling services or waived exams after Obama's election. https://t.co/tdasc2kbYm— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
What most pundits don't acknowledge is that the Trump election is a rejection of Obama's "achievements" over the past 8 years.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
I pointed out in a FB comment that Clinton's wins were chiefly in the Northeast/mid-Atlantic and the Left Coast, only 5 in the interior.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
I'm enjoying the free-for-all of "progressives" rushing to be DNC chair. The degeneration into a regional party is due to its ideology.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
The fact is that Bernie Sanders couldn't beat a highly unpopular Hillary Clinton, in a year when Jeb Bush's campaign never got on track.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
I'm getting flamed by delusional Sanders cultists. Just as Clinton campaign wanted to push her weakest opponent, Trump hyped Sanders.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
There has got to be a less painful way to get reader impressions. After being accused by Trumpkins of being a Dem,Berniekins say I'm Trumpkin— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
Harry Reid on Trump: 'A sexual predator who lost the popular vote'— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
Harry Reid is a corrupt political whore who lost the Senate majority.
Jane Sanders, wife of socialist gadfly Bernie, insists that he would have beaten Trump. Sheer fantasy. Not a chance in hell. McGovern redux.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DelTee_787 @ValensSerg Hell, no. We can't even fund social security, Medicare and Medicaid. These are issues better solved by the market.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@tofugirrl I'm on the record on Trump; read my past tweets and blog. I publicly announced my vote for Johnson. I also voted against Clinton.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@tofugirrl And a majority of pollsters had Clinton up by 3.5-4 points. The pundits met their day of reckoning.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@sasyecat @Plantflowes Nope, Clinton was unpopular before emailGate. You simply had a change year election. Since 1948, only 1988's Bush.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena Trump didn't need to win Michigan. Last time I checked, Michigan wasn't called yet. Obama lost the 2010 mid-term and the next 2.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena Nope. Sanders was never really under attack, because Clinton hoped to inherit his supporters, and Trump hoped to face him.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena. Maybe, maybe not. The GOP controls the governor's mansion and the legislature. Does math make your head hurt, Barbie?— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@tofugirrl I'm a libertarian and did not vote for Trump. Obviously you've missed my hundreds of published anti-Trump tweets.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena Wrong, idiot! Obama's policies didn't work, and he openly campaigned for Clinton. Sanders couldn't even beat Clinton, who Trump did— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena You are ignoring the fact that Obama's votes didn't just come from Democrats--and Trump won despite the GOP being smaller %,— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena I didn't win. I didn't vote for Trump. But Sanders didn't have a shot outside the states Clinton won.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena Many, including myself. left the GOP over the Trump nomination. You're writing to someone with 2 math degrees. The GOP Congress!— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@tofugirrl It must be nice living in a detached reality. Socialist Sanders would not have done better than Clinton. You forget: Congress GOP— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@FLOURNOYFarrell @MrsZiggy1988 Second, there is no constitutional provision to release tax returns. In fact, no income tax law until Wilson.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@FLOURNOYFarrell @MrsZiggy1988 First of all, I never voted for Trump. As far as I'm concerned, he's another Big Govt whore like Sanders.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@lilyaniris Einstein was a socialist. It just proves you can be a genius in one area and a retard in another. Einstein didn't know economics— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DJ_Lena Nope. Delusional nonsense. Trump was running against DC, and Sanders was a career politician. The Dems are a regional party.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DelTee_787 Trump is not a political whore like professional politician Bernie Sanders whose wealth comes from the public teat.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DelTee_787 First of all, I voted for Johnson, not Trump. But you are barring voluntary transactions in the economy.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DelTee_787 What is real enslavement is Big Govt at gunpoint, which only economic illiterates like yourself would promote.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DelTee_787 The Dems' Ponzi scheme progressive programs have perpetuated, not cured, poverty. You are pushing insolvency on steroids.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@Ruby_Chiweenie Crackpot delusional crap. Bernie Sanders didn't win a majority of Democratic primary voters, period. Case closed.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
@DelTee_787 Nope. You're living in a delusional reality. Trump has never advocated Sanders' socialism. Trump was hyping a vulnerable Sanders— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
Commentary On "Freedom On Trial" SeriesThe fact is that Bernie Sanders couldn't beat a highly unpopular Hillary Clinton, in a year when Jeb Bush's campaign never got on track.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) November 11, 2016
Over the past week, I've embedded the series "Freedom on Trial", a libertarian drama based on a small businessman put on trial for giving a young man an entry-level low-paying job which happens to violate the prevailing minimum/"living wage" law. Here are follow-ups (note that Galbraith is the devil's advocate trying to justify obscene minimum wage policy):

Musical Interlude: My Favorite Vocalists
Kenny Loggins, "If You Believe". Although I have a considerable music collection, I most often purchase greatest hits compilations, rarely an album based on a single hit tune. This was an exception; I couldn't find the single and bought the album to get it. I love the choir backup, and the underrated tune is one of my Loggins favorites. We are heading down the home stretch, closing with an Oscar-nominated performance. Cher will be the last featured performer series of the year, with my annual holiday music retrospective to follow.
