Rant of the Day: Lawrence Reed
Lisa Danzig, associate director for personnel and performance with the White House’s Office of Management and Budget, says that "the federal shutdown, furloughs and pay freezes in recent years have eroded the attraction of (young people) working for the government" -- Good! But there may be other reasons a young person wouldn't want to work for the federal government, such as: 1) it's thoroughly corrupt; 2) it doesn't follow the rule book that established it in the first place; 3) it treats people and their money as dumb cows to be milked; 4) it spies on and abuses people by the millions; 5) it meddles in the affairs of umpteen other countries; 6) it lies and breaks promises all the time; 7) it cynically buys votes with public money; 8) it steals from future generations by handing them mountains of debt; 9) it erodes its own currency by printing boatloads of it to help pay its bills; and last but not least, 10) young people prefer to earn a living by creating value rather than by redistributing or destroying it.Tweet of the Day
Jeb Bush may run for President in 2016. Nothing says change like Bush v. Clinton. I would rather have a bird in the hand.

Judge in Limited Ruling Notes Obama's Immigration Executive Order is Unconstitutional: Thumbs UP!
From the Washington Times:
Judge Arthur J. Schwab, sitting in the Western District of Pennsylvania, said Mr. Obama has some discretion in how to enforce laws, but by setting out a comprehensive system to grant tentative legal status to as many as 5 million illegal immigrants, the president has strayed into trying to write the laws, which is a power reserved for Congress.Facebook Corner
“President Obama’s unilateral legislative action violates the separation of powers provided for in the United States Constitution as well as the Take Care Clause, and therefore is unconstitutional,” Judge Schwab wrote.
(National Review). Jeb Bush may run for 45. http://trib.al/xHKhFEl
