Quote of the Day
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty
than to those attending too small a degree of it.

(Fox Business). Judge Andrew Napolitano says the people who used the interrogation techniques mentioned in the Senate report on the CIA and their supervisors should be tried and threatened with jail time. What do you think?
The CIA is unworthy of our nation's ideals. They are not above the law. The ends don't justify the means. Everyone who knew about and/or participated in rogue activities and did nothing to stop them should be held accountable and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Judge Napolitano, as usual, is spot on.

(Reason). When students demand that authorities silence dissenting views, they unintentionally demonstrate that they don't deserve the diplomas they are about to receive.
Free speech comes with consequences. You have the right to say whatever you please in a column - but people who disagree with you have the right to say you're an asshole and not invite you to speak at their campus. And I'm sorry, Will was dumb enough to say rape is a "coveted status" - that's monumental stupidity that deserves to be met with scorn and derision. Even though he does say sensible things sometimes.
Your fascist intolerance and intentional distortion of George Will's position is morally repulsive and hypocritical. Will never denied there are legitimate rape crimes; what his essay pointed out was the hyped rape contagion was based on faulty methodology. That you cannot think for yourself but have to rely on academic "progressive" propaganda speaks for itself.

how would the interstate mega hwy system have ever been made in straight lines without eminent domain?? or even funded and built in such a short time span??? We would never have the Interstate System under your Logic...
Economically illiterate trolls know nothing about privatization and should refrain from publishing their nonsense. First of all, literally thousands of miles of tollways were privately-held prior to the twentieth century--and in essence the government squeezed out the private sector afterwards. Second, roadways tend to raise the value of adjacent properties; in many cases, land was donated or exchanged for stock in the turnpike company. The use of eminent domain to gain easement rights was a matter of last resort.
