@realDonaldTrump's policies against immigration and trade, for high-end tax hikes make for a Herbert Hoover wannabe. http://t.co/gQACushKMt

Where do the GOP Presidential candidates stand on discretionary monetary policy? Repeal Humphrey-Hawkins, the bubble-causing second mandate!

(National Review). "I'm very pro-choice...in every respect." -- Donald J. Trump when asked about partial-birth abortion.
Trump might be able to buy off corrupt politicians (which makes him a corrupt crony capitalist), but his money can't buy brains, a genuine political philosophy, manners, or integrity. He only attracts the support of delusional feeble-minded cultists.
(Reason). How did one of the most efficient, resource-saving inventions of the 20th century become an environmentalist bugaboo?
Plastic bags are wasteful and are destroying the environment. Just bring your own sacks with you, people. It's not hard.
You guys didn't read the article, did you? You didn't see the part about potential health risks with reusable bags. They are not "destroying" the environment; you are relying on radical environmentalist propaganda than real science.
(Reason). Compare the lines at the Magic Kingdom with those at the Orlando International Airport and behold the advantage of free markets over government monopolies.
It's not just providing the illusion of movement and closure, making waiting less boring. Disney has also implemented exclusive early hours for its hotel guests, they are experimenting with reservation systems, Universal has offered premium Express Passes with line-skipping privileges.
The State monopoly of course, has perverse incentives; the customer has no choice, and employees report to a federal bureaucracy.
(Reason). What do immigrants and FedEx packages have in common? Republicans from Chris Christie to Newt Gingrich to Mike Huckabee love comparing the two.
If you don't believe borders should be controlled, any solution is authoritarian.
Don't be a retard. What we are arguing about is throwing money at a false "solution"--like the nativist bastards are doing. If you haven't noticed, asshole, unauthorized aliens are down nearly 1M since 2007. The real problem is the union and nativist trash have closed off temporary work permits, and making it more difficult to return motivates migrants to stay in place.
(Ron Paul). Carly Fiorina wants us to believe she is a real outsider, but from her association with Sen. John McCain to her cozy relationship with the CIA it's all untruth in advertising.
Is Carly Fiorina A "Political Outsider"?...Or Very Much An Insider?http://bit.ly/1Q7dvqv
Why is it that all the non-DC outsider candidates, without military or foreign policy experience, are among the most jingoistic? I thought in 2012 Romney would run against the 12 years of Bush and Obama--domestic and foreign policy--a strategy no-brainer, and Romney ran to the tiny right of Obama, who had doubled American casualties in Afghanistan under Bush and largely adopted Bush's strategy, including promoting Petraeus.... I think all of this (e.g., not talking to Putin) is political pandering to show, even though she's not a guy, she's got the stones to be tough enough on the military and foreign policy to appease the neocon base.
(Proud to be an American). This Kentucky court clerk doesn't care what the Supreme Court says – she refuses to act against her religious beliefs. Do you support the stand she's taking?
Whereas I understand Kim Davis' disagreement with badly decided SCOTUS opinions, she is engaging in dereliction of duty, It's not her role or responsibility to make policy. Conscientious objection reflects a reflection of one's own culpability, say, against the natural rights of others; that doesn't apply in this case. If one feels executing the duties of her public office violates her liberties, she should resign her office as a matter of conscience.
