Reader Notes
My Facebook segments for some time in the evolution of this SMD format and before them was largely a set of comment clippings. At some point I became aware of an option to embed the post itself through an html code clipping utility. So for many of the last several months, I've been posting a series of posts; almost every post had an option. Something has changed lately and I'm not sure of the nature and extent of what can be embedded; only one of my recent posts or reposts had an embed option (the one below). Plus, I haven't really spent as much time on Facebook as I used to. So the segment may evolve in format based on my activity and options.
My Twitter account is going through a long slump. I've lost 2 followers after a long steady period of 7 followers. I'm now down to maybe 225 impressions per day; part of it is fewer tweets, of course; maybe Twitter Mommy is suppressing things, and/or fewer of the trends lately are attracting my interest.
Did anyone else feel like they were watching a remake of "Grumpy Old Men"?

"Trump and Biden"
Helen Reddy passed. She was one of my favorite vocalists. But I remember being in a car with 3 women when "I Am Woman" played on the radio and 3 angry pairs of female eyes glaring at me, the symbol of the patriarchy. I thought they were going to kick me out of the car in Texas.

The debate would have been 10 times better if the real alternative, Jo Jorgensen, had been on the stage. The most quoted line of the night was Joe telling Trump, "Will you shut up, man?"

"Trump and Biden"
Trump took credit for bringing back college football. Well, except at Notre Dame maybe.

My latest post reviews the first Presidential "debate".https://t.co/CqbV4Ldt4T

Tell me again how your policies stopped infected American tourists returning home from spreading the virus to over 7 million Americans and killing over 200K others.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 30, 2020
How ironic! The Chinese Commies who maintain their political monopoly at gunpoint are accusing Google of being a monopoly.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 30, 2020
Bill Clinton once found inspiration from a place called Hope (AR). Trump found the "Chinese virus" from a person called Hope.

"President Trump says he and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID-19"
I'm sorry to hear you two, like 7 million other Americans, have been exposed to COVID-19. Hopefully you will respond more thoughtfully about the pandemic and its effects on other people as well.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 2, 2020
Oh my God. Could the Trump Derangement Syndrome trolls give it a rest? Cheering the POTUS' illness? When RBG was hospitalized, we libertarians and conservatives expressed our sympathies, even though we sharply disagreed with her opinions on the Court.

#TrumpHasCovid
And what the world waits to hear: who won my Presidential vote this year? HINT: Not him or him. My first Presidential vote for a highly intelligent, capable, principled woman. pic.twitter.com/Ti5vjsn6Yn

My favorite Bob Gibson story is that he was so dominant in 1968 that MLB changed its rules, lowering the pitching mount. Bob Gibson recently passed from cancer. My thoughts and prayers to his surviving family and friends.

I used to be one of The Boss' biggest fans until he publicized his leftist politics; I had bought every album, even his boring acoustic ones, up to that point.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 4, 2020
"Born in the USA" was misunderstood because of its anthem-like refrain https://t.co/IUZYqQoeIN
"Born in the USA"
Progressives feel the need to remind people "Born in the USA" is NOT a patriotic song. True enough; it's about a struggling Vietnam vet haunted by his experience. The Boss was unhappy that Reagan tried to coopt the song. Over 30 years later, misunderstood

"Born in the USA"
My latest post rants against Tom Woods and Lew Rockwell over their attacks on Wallace and Biden over Trump's handling of the Charlottesville tragedy.https://t.co/bdKpotGpm3

We may need to treat Trump by injecting him with household cleaner.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 5, 2020
I guess Trump didn't inject the right household cleaner.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 6, 2020
"White House"
Speaking as an original Never Trumper who left the GOP over the nomination of Trump, no it's not; voting for Biden is a state of denial over his 47 years as an incompetent spendaholic Statist. Vote for someone who is for the Constitution, free markets: Jo Jorgensen.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 6, 2020
How do you know when you're turning libertarian? When Google promotes the headline "a new House bill is on the table" and you know it's being put on their grandkids' tab.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 6, 2020
Both Trump and Biden were in White House Administrations with over $7T of cumulative debt. Both of them are foreign interventionists, say incredibly stupid stuff, have embraced the corrupt practice of nepotism, were registered Dems in the 2000's. Biden is avuncular.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 6, 2020
"Biden"
The Gray Lady is touting a study that nearly one-third of COVID patients had an altered mental state. Does that mean a kinder, gentler Trump?
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 6, 2020
It turns out you can catch COVID-19 by kissing Trump's infected ass.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 7, 2020
"Stephen Miller"
I saw "Swamp Thing" on my TV listings. I know what you're thinking. No, it's not another Trump show.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 7, 2020
Legalized kidnapping by the hypocritical Trump Administration is an abomination.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 7, 2020
"Rod Rosenstein"
And people wonder why I didn't mourn Sessions' runoff race to regain his Senate seat. https://t.co/nGOgx1CRab
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 7, 2020
Your first episode should be an autobiography.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 8, 2020
Apparently Kamala Harris plagiarizes Alan Grayson just like Biden plagiarizes other people.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 8, 2020
Trump has announced that he will not participate in a remote Presidential debate. I know what you're thinking: Biden will finally get to say something without getting interrupted, and he's studying Clint Eastwood's debate with an empty chair.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 8, 2020
After Trump's inexcusably unprofessional performance in the first Presidential debate, I don't know why his mike was left on beyond the one or 2 minutes in being directly asked questions.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 8, 2020
Trump doesn't have any clue how he's being perceived politically and his toxic personality. When you're seen getting preferential treatment for a disease that you caught deliberately avoiding safety protocols while refusing to negotiate for benefits to others/victims: clueless.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 8, 2020
By any measure, our grossly overcrowded prisons and jails are like breeding grounds for the pandemic. This IS cruel and unusual punishment. https://t.co/H7HrBLW1UF
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 8, 2020
Does Trump's politically suicidal Trumpertantrum in boycotting next week's Presidential debate seem familiar? Remember in 2016 he boycotted a primary debate over his petty feud with Megyn Kelly. He found his self-inflicted wound didn't help and quickly resumed participation.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 9, 2020
I think the REAL reason Double Standard Trump is boycotting a remote debate is that he knows the moderator can cut off his prolific unprofessional interruptions of Biden. Never mind the fact he may still be contagious at the time of the debate and safety protocols.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 9, 2020
But the fact of the matter is that the Fat Lady is about to sing on Trump v Biden. According to RCP, Biden has widened his lead over Trump to nearly 10 points and leads for about 374 state electoral votes. Biden is winning key battleground states by statistical significant margin
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 9, 2020
Pelosi is going nowhere with this stunt. The 25th Amendment was meant to deal with the likes of Wilson's 1919 stroke.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) October 9, 2020
"25th Amendment"
Yes, science is real, but your ignorance of it and the Constitution is more real. Some masks lower the risk of infection, but you're not smart enough to realize why N95 is not N100. No you are a self-serving political whore interested in expanding the State vs individual liberty
