Well, as an unlikely lifelong Vikings fan (I never stepped foot in MN until my 30's, long story), I have come to expect things like today's defensive collapse in Philadelphia. They started off dominant, with a impressive first drive and then after a turnover TD, never recovered.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 22, 2018
I've got issues with Sen. Graham, who is a neo-con, but I agree with Graham that Xenophobe Presidential Adviser Stephen Miller should get his ass kicked out of the shutdown talks. I still remember first hearing him on a podcast and wondering just who is this obnoxious jackass?— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 22, 2018
The Trump Administration's anti-immigration stance now has a poster boy: Dr. Niec, a 43-year-old Polish-born immigrant whose family came here in his early childhood, is threatened with deportation over a past indiscretion in his teens. https://t.co/OFJO9B7ZRc— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 22, 2018
The fact is that the incompetent Trump can't even cut a short-term government funding deal with Schumer. Trump's anti-immigrant decisions (i.e., DACA) provoked this crisis. #SchumerSellout— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 22, 2018
discovered my podcast backlog is too long. An email identified George Will as an NBC (vs. FNC) commentator. Apparent FNC didn't like Will splitting from the GOP and criticizing Trump and basically dropped the world's best columnist. FNC sucks.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 22, 2018
Trump has got to be one of the stupidest men ever to occupy the White House. Cheap, partisan shots like "the Dems have come to their senses" on the shutdown are adolescent nonsense--this is a TEMPORARY funding agreement, and Trump lost.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 23, 2018
Trump's economic illiterate tariffs on products like solar panels and washers is not only anti-consumer but will trigger commensurate responses against American exported goods and services. The American economy thrives despite Trump, not because of him.— Ronald Guillemette (@raguillem) January 23, 2018

Does Heckling Violate Free Speech?
Basically, you (and the government) do not have the right to use force to prevent expression of speech. This doesn't mean there aren't social norms that play a role, including the principle of reciprocity, civility, etc. You certainly don't have unilateral rights or to violate the contract of a speech setting. For example, the rules of a debit may including things like time limits and the style or nature of discussion. These are not violations of free speech but a contractual mutual agreement to limit speech in the debate.Political Cartoon
