We are so accustomed to disguise ourselves to others that
in the end we become disguised to ourselves.

Obama--"I'm not a tax-and-spend liberal". Still Bush-bashing. Public debt has doubled; since 2006, spending up $1T/yr http://t.co/qXbIoJFgAz

(IPI). Illinois' backwards ban on Sunday car sales is blatantly anti-consumer and anti-competitive.
The car dealers should decide this issue not the government.
The car dealers did decide this through lobbying
The crony car dealers don't like the idea of a fellow competitor providing sales and service on a day convenient to customers. If these corrupt hypocritical bastards believed consumers didn't want Sunday avaiable, they would let their rivals spend money without making a profit--you don't need legalized thuggery to keep your rival from losing money...
(separate comment)
How many idiot commenters misunderstood what the OP meant? He did not mean Big Dealers should use the government to enforce policy. No, "the car dealers" DIDN'T ask for the government to decide their own operating hours--they already can decide their hours on their own. The Big Dealers want to control the operating hours of THEIR COMPETITION, fools.
any business decision should be made by the business owners, not the government.
It's exactly the point that corrupt Big Dealers are using the state to enforce anti-competitive behavior. God DAMN the corrupt Big Dealers--they are operating in their own, not the consumer's interest. Let the individual car dealer compete without government restrictions, PERIOD.
