Drug Regulation v. Liberty
Yes, Coulter is right; the highest cost of drugs does somewhat diminish the demand, but government prohibition serves to protect black market high profits and to a certain extent there are inelastic demand curves (e.g., a drug addict will pay almost any price to feed his habit).
