Pathological liars and I happen to be Never Trump. The referenced "cuts" involved: "changes to Social Security Disability Insurance, slashing the maximum amount of retroactive benefits for disabled workers from 12 months to six." Not the implied retirement benefit cuts. https://t.co/n5SBK5n0ZO

Well, the US Dream Team got all to a slow start, down 10-2 to Serbia, before coasting to an easy victory in the Paris Olympics.

Google's advertising has taken the wrong turn on YouTube for me. I have been getting swamped with Kamala Harris funding appeals. If anything, it's discouraging my use of YouTube. I have zero tolerance for progressive political whores.

I loathe court economists who serve to rationalize the politics of envy and Statism. More people have been taken out of poverty by capitalism than any religion or ideology. We have more routine medical solutions like vaccines, more global goods and services, cheap telecom, PCs.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 29, 2024
This is beyond stupid. Article 1 Section 3 Clause 7 talks explicitly about prosecuting former Presidents. The 2 federal prosecutions of Trump have not been dismissed on grounds of Presidential immunity. Chief Justice Roberts specifically wrote no one is above the law.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 29, 2024
No to Biden's partisan constitutional amendment. You really can't argue Trump's decision to intervene in Georgia's election is constitutionally protected or his theft of national secrets. He took an oath to honor the Constitution. Pushing on a string gimmicks are unnecessary.

Even pdfs were an advance over cutthroat academics. I still recall my MBA PLM instructor assigned articles, and when I went to the UH stacks, the articles had been razor-cut out of their issues, leaving the rest of us at a disadvantage.

It's been a while (since the 90's) since I was a university professor. Much has changed. I wrote my first college papers on a touch typewriter, had to hire a service to typeset my math Master's thesis, wrote my MBA papers with a Commodore 64, and my dissertation using Samna.

I'll believe "Mark Levin" when he rediscovers Trump is no more than a New Deal Democrat (as historian Brion McClanahan points out), who failed to win the 2000 Reform Party nomination, supported both Clinton and Obama in 2008, and added nearly $7.8 T to the national debt.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 29, 2024
Biden's so-called SCOTUS constitution reform is DOA in the House.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 29, 2024
I do think an amendment idea worth consideration is term limits for all 3 branches of federal government:
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 29, 2024
- a single 6-year term as POTUS
- 18 years for any new federal judge appointment
- 18 year cap on new terms in the House or Senate
Interesting. Historian Brion McClanahan argues there is a birther objection to Harris' eligibility to be POTUS based on original intent of the 14th Amendment. He points out her parents weren't naturalized citizens at her birth and hence owned allegiance to their home countries.

As a Catholic libertarian and a native Texan, I am morally outraged by corrupt political whores like Paxton and Abbott. These assholes would prosecute the Good Samaritan and the Samaritan woman who gave Jesus a drink of water. https://t.co/Pukd442dSt
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
No. As a Catholic, I can say as a fact no Catholic in good standing accepts the murder of the preborn. The Church was been consistent from the get-go. It was not morally acceptable in Jesus' time, and it was explicitly rejected by the Didache as the Church expanded beyond Israel.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
The Democrats hope you're too stupid to realize the labor pool sustaining social security is shrinking while the retiree group is growing and living longer. Without a balanced approach to revenue increases beyond soak the rich and tightened expenses, everyone's benefits get hit.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
Economic illiteracy in Michigan ultimately fails workers. The minimum wage discriminates against young/less experienced workers by pricing them out of the labor force. As for "paid leave", there is no free lunch. Increased costs must be funded.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
"Michigan Supreme Court"
I didn't like Carter intervening against US participation in the 1980 games at the expense of athletes who had trained for 4 years. But there's something just about Ukraine earning more medals these games than war criminal Putin's propaganda team. https://t.co/YJWchkbuRR
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
Well, I get the "real American" theme music for retired wrestler Hogan fits with Trump's cheesy nationalism, but as I recall, it was Hacksaw Jim Duggan who carried a flag and led "USA!" chants
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
"Hulk Hogan"
Congratulations to Katie Ledecky who is a league of her own in the 1500 meter freestyle, winning in Olympic record time.

I happen to be Never Trump, but I find all the personal attacks by leftists on his alleged racism, misogyny, etc., formulaic, boring and ineffective beyond a partisan base. The best arguments against Trump (his spendthrift ways, anti-trade, etc.) apply to Dems
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
"Watching Trump"
Yes, I'm also an IT professional & I have worked with or for people of color. I don't necessarily blame Trump for the talking point because national employment stats report racial cross-breaks. I do think labor protectionism goes beyond low-wage jobs & occupation mix is a problem
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) July 31, 2024
It is embarrassing how laughably incompetent Trump is on any topic. Kamala Harris, with a black father, belonged to a black sorority while attending a historically black college, and she later led a black law student group. Trump owes Harris an apology.https://t.co/XGeBeU7akA https://t.co/weCGtfCJGr
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 1, 2024
Well, Trump's political success has nothing to do with policy; it's all been celebrity and political gimmicks. Trump's personal shots at Harris aren't working; 4 years after Harris crashed and burned in the Dem primary, Trump has a point lead nationally.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 1, 2024
"Bill O'Reilly"
I was watching the USA male 3-on-3 victory over France when I saw one of the Americans shooting underhanded foul shots. Well, of course, NBA great Rick Barry used to do that, but I really haven't seen it since trying it during my junior high days
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
Spot on. We need to end the Fed. There are some signs that consumers are tapped out and given response lag, it's likely a case of a rate hike too many, too long. https://t.co/Aj892CGR8u
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
Yes, Trump channeled his inner RINO in banning bump stocks. Luckily the 3 justices he nominated to SCOTUS reversed his heresy.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
However, at almost 89, Ron is even older than Biden and Trump. Chase Oliver is the LP nomineehttps://t.co/P5CFqWcwGo
"Ron Paul"
I didn't realize mixed-gender track relays became a thing in the 2021 Olympics; I know some gender benders were in women's boxing, but I thought I was hallucinating over some runners with shorter hairstyles
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
Economically illiterate leftist trolls shouldn't tweet. The relationship is complex. Keep in mind you have the law of supply and demand, and companies must pass along their costs in the long runhttps://t.co/3AdoTWRonk
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
Bidenomics https://t.co/GzNKFB1wkL
No. Employment is not all that good, despite what economically illiterate partisan trolls opine. Employment gains have been climbing in less productive sectors like healthcare and government. Employment stats are based on subjective definitions of the labor force, include PTers. https://t.co/0jpgztsT6r
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
I usually don't quote Dem tweets, but Republicans set themselves up for this inconvenient truth by rationalizing xenophobic policies on alleged migrant trafficking in fentanyl. Never mind doubling down on the failed war on drugs https://t.co/6V1yD99sZV
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 2, 2024
Biden's job approval is up to almost 41%. Apparently his exit from reelection is being well-received.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 3, 2024
I'm watching the US Dream Team routing Puerto Tico in Paris. Another sluggish start, but I don't recall seeing so many easy points near the basket.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 3, 2024
I don't know if the alleged Carter quotation is authentic. However, on its own merit, the meme is rubbish. Trying to scapegoat the church or clergy for sexism in the State or the culture doesn't work, at least in Western democracies. Note that he provides zero evidence. https://t.co/slaF6TF7KT
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) August 3, 2024
This is seriously misleading, and I happen to be Never Trump. The trial in question was civil, not criminal. The jury found a preponderance of evidence of sexual abuse, not rape. I'm not familiar of any hard DNA evidence of Trump. like Lewinsky's dress.https://t.co/Axmq9lAeDa https://t.co/t76ltkcKWu
