The audacity of a Dem troll to argue the debt ceiling issue is just partisan is pathetic. Biden has refused to negotiate in good faith with the GOP, after winning office as a centrist. He tried to spend trillions more than he got with paper-thin majorities in Congress.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 2, 2023
I am not a Republican, and I have my separate fiscal conservative critique of the GOP, particularly on defense spending. The fact is, the only budget surpluses in recent memory were under a GOP-controlled House. A top-heavy national debt impairs economic growth.

Cherokee Lizzie, like all incompetent leftists, likes to bash the private sector for government failures. Yes, the 3 banks could and should have hedged assets for duration risk. But the Fed could & should have known of the effect of its decisions on duration risk and bank assets.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 2, 2023
The Fed Reserve has radically increased interest rates. Prices of bonds vary inversely with interest rates. So, if you need to cash in bonds early--to meet withdrawal demand. You have to report asset sales publicly. Someone noticed SVB had to cash in bonds at a loss.

Typical pro-abort mainstream media propaganda. Heaven help us if medical "experts" are empowered to decide whether killing another human life is morally justifiable. I have personally read dozens of anecdotal cases where the doctors were wrong. Tragedies occur in post-natal life https://t.co/1uWdQpjfxB
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 3, 2023
Typical Statist Politics of Envy rubbish. First, money doesn't necessarily win elections. Bloomberg didn't win in 2020. Clinton outspent Trump, and McCain got the 2008 nomination. Second, anonymous free speech goes beyond politics.https://t.co/suE2JXTOuo

Does anyone believe Trump's delusion that he can manipulate a ruthless war criminal? This is the same loser who tried and failed to extort Zelensky into investigating Biden, sabotaging his President bid. https://t.co/pRPwRCPCFy

Interesting speculation over impeaching Biden over alleged wrongdoing as VP. Whereas I think it could affect his chances of reelection, I think impeachment reflects his behavior as POTUS, never mind statute of limitation consideration. Impeachment could be a double-edged sword.

As a former professor who had experience dealing with old-fashioned academic dishonesty across universities and their students, I've been curious how current teachers cope with AI-facilitated cheating. https://t.co/eJFe5E5Dxf
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 4, 2023
The GOP plan is more of the Congressional concept of budget cuts--limiting growth in future spending vs baseline budget cuts. They also cut back on Biden's unconstitutional student loan relief & try to claw back unspent pandemic spending. The Dems object to Big Green subsidy cuts
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 4, 2023
The stock market has been in a funk for some time now with our high-tech crown jewel shedding many jobs--not over GOP policy. The recession issue has more to do with Fed Reserve interest rate increases in trying to contain BidInflation.https://t.co/jDEuTEB0JH
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 4, 2023
Just a reminder to ignorant leftist trolls: Congress never approved a comprehensive loan forgiveness program. Even former Speaker Pelosi noted that. Biden's program is illegal and unconstitutional. and Justice Thomas will and should rule accordingly.

Trump is not the chivalrous type. He owned a beauty pageant. He speculated over his then baby daughter's future breast size. He mocked rival candidate Ms. Fiorina's looks. He bragged about bedding married women in his autobiography.

Denial isn't crediblehttps://t.co/H8PJOcP7Ub https://t.co/xyBLZ4T2kD
It is true that Trump could have vetoed massive spending bills. But Biden's attempt to take credit for "cutting the deficit" is beyond disingenuous. He's trying to take credit for expiring pandemic spending. Only a paper-thin majority stopped him from spending trillions more.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) May 6, 2023
It's ironic that the Dems are taking shots at Trump over the debt ceiling kerfuffle. Trump didn't like the statutory limit and wanted to end it, working with the Dems, but Congressional Republicans opposed losing their leverage against overspending.https://t.co/XJvnDoBSvI

This back-door approach to politicizing SCOTUS is shameful and immoral. Justice Thomas is not vested in public policy. Moreover:

Seriously, these leftist deadbeats are arguing like Wimpy I will gladly discuss paying my bills on Tuesday, just not while you have any leverage on the issue. No, it's not the GOP forcing default on the debt. It's Dems spending money they don't have.

Congratulations to King Chuck. As a libertarian I'm not into monarchies. I do appreciate the pomp and circumstance, though. I was distracted by Twitter, however, when I suddenly caught a glimpse of Chuck with a crown on his head; I finally found a Youtube clip of the crowning.

I don't think I've heard a single Bad Bunny tune, but the dude is athletic enough to hang with WWE wrestlers. You couldn't pay me enough for Damian Priest to slam me though the announcers' table. #WWEBacklash

The fact is only a tiny fraction of literally hundreds of millions of firearms are used to commit violent crimes. The idea that prohibitions work when there's a demand for a product ignores the failures of alcohol prohibition and the War on Drugs.

I haven't seen Twitter users griping about egg prices recently. I was at a MD Walmart today, and they were selling 5-dozen budget brand cartons for about $8.24. And if that's too many, a dozen large eggs have broken below the $2 barrier.

Not intended to diss a talented Zelina Vega, but I never bought into a storyline beyond her ethnic heritage. I can count on one hand her recent victories to earn a title shot, never mind the physical fact that Rhea Ripley dwarfs petite Zelina. #wwebacklash

Sigh! These morally corrupt leftists will never be satisfied with anything short of a police state. They will whore any tragedy for self-serving political ambition. They don't give a damn about victims and survivors; that's why they ridicule t&p.

School shootings are a fairly rare event. (This doesn't mean they haven't/don't happen or they aren't tragic.) Most people are aware of them through obsessive news coverage, e.g., of the Uvalde massacre. But there are over 90K public schools in the US. https://t.co/gIusT1BMk1
