I'm Never Trump, but the OP is beyond disingenuous and stupid. Trump lost 4 states by less than 1% (and 51 electoral votes): AZ, PA, WI, GA. Without those electoral votes, Biden would have lost. As for the irrelevant popular vote, Trump's % > Clinton's in 1992
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 1, 2024
Hell no! This country became the world's greatest economy due to immigrants. We had a century of bad immigration laws which have queues years long at current quotas. It is grossly immoral to scapegoat immigrants for stupid laws that hurt our economy.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 1, 2024
Congratulations. I'm not an immigrant or an MD, but my primary language in kindergarten was French. I was a valedictorian at 16 and college graduate at 19. I'm an MIS PhD: I don't put it on my handle. I am very pro-immigration and would lift all quota caps. Trump uses the issue.

The last thing we need is some fake patriot fake machismo demagogue who was not respected by any world leader and would blunder us into a Middle East conflict. Obviously, murderers of hostages must be held accountable. https://t.co/qQ9RUoV2dY
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 1, 2024
No, this is actually a fairly weak argument. Ask me if I give a damn what stupid Statists require elsewhere. This is pushing on a string rubbish which would deprive you of exercising your political right over some misplaced arbitrary mark of the beast.

Nobody I respect takes this mentally ill, incompetent, ignorant, hypocritical son of a bitch seriously. The dude argued Romney lost in 2012 over his "cruel" self-deport policy, and 3 years later, his own xenophobia was 10X worse than anything Romney ever considered. https://t.co/WOK6KAA3fg
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 1, 2024
Hell no. Even a dimwitted leftist authoritarian like you is seriously not going to target a former POTUS and Presidential nominee paying his respects at the request of Gold Medal families. Trump could not ask for better publicity. I happen to be Never Trump, but this is stupid.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 1, 2024
I suppose leftists like Clooney actually believe that, paying lip service to Biden's capitulation of his nomination under pressure from the party elite and donors, fools other people. It's a soft coup.

Yeah. Trump has loved the Bible ever since, while waiting for his mistress to get ready in the hotel room, he read how God let King Solomon have 1000 wives and concubines....

Levin https://t.co/ftGY4ZlwbL
No. He's an evil career political whore, and America deserves a lot better. His Presidency has been a failure. Entertainers should keep their incompetent boring, self-indulgent opinions to themselves rather than expose their stupidity to the world and alienate half their fans.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 2, 2024
Hell no. Leftists think every Never Trump vote belongs to them. Pemce would never vote for a socialist like Harris. I suspect he will protest-vote for a third-party candidate like Chase Oliver or write-in a vote, perhaps even himself
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 2, 2024
Pence
No. By any objective standard, Trump is an incompetent debater. I wrote 3 posts on details of this year's infamous Trump/Biden debate. The debate was not won by Trump so much as lost by Biden. Biden went basically incoherent at points. Trump wasn't incoherent, just wrong.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 2, 2024
Trump is an anti-trade protectionist. It's a policy that harms economic growth. Part of the issue is Trump's economic illiterate understanding of the trade deficit. I bash Sen. Graham's Trumpist rhetoric in a recent podcast. https://t.co/ftRBzXjNPo
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 2, 2024
I honestly thought the Trump daughter-in-law's music video was a prank or parody. The late Karen Carpenter was wrong: "Don't worry that it's not good enough For anyone else to hear, Just sing, Sing a song" Daddy-in-law won't steal her music..

Watching these anti-Israel protests at Columbia University triggers a recall that Tom Woods got his PhD there. I'm listening to a Woods podcast where he's talking about his doctoral student days. Most of us libertarians have issues with our current foreign policy but Woods' take?

Trumpkins are just looking for an excuse if their nominee loses again. Never mind he's never gotten at least 47%, had 2 impeachments and 4 criminal indictments. Just weeks after becoming a candidate, the most unpopular VP in history is beating him?

Just a reminder to dumbass Joe Scarborough that VP Harris is the same word salad idiot who won 3% of 2020 primary votes and has the lowest VP job approvals in history. Dems and independents are just relieved it's no longer "Weekends at Joe's". https://t.co/iHy7va4pR2
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 3, 2024
No. Trump is the most unprincipled, corrupt, self-serving political whores ever to occupy the Presidency. He launched a trade war with China, although he conceptually doesn't understand the trade balance. He added almost $8T to the debt. He has no reform for senior entitlements. https://t.co/eTGAeDvdET

The whole partisan leftist tweet is rubbish, but I'm tired of the latter trite accusation. Ever since Bork, SCOTUS nominees (including liberals) have sidestepped matters potentially up before the Court. You may generally respect precedent without agreeing with all precedents. https://t.co/Aa5ZxrtTTq

Leftists lack analytical skills. Federal mandates have nothing to do with to with voluntary exchanges in the private sector. Federal subsidies exacerbate inflationary trends. You need to look at things like barriers to entry to daycare providers.

Thin-skinned Brazilian judicial whores in crimes against liberty are targeting X and other Musk businesses, exercising legalized extortion, and Musk Derangement Syndrome hypocritical American left-liberals are cheerleading Statist policies at the expense of Brazilian consumers.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 5, 2024
Some are fuming over Time's list of top 100 on AI, snubbing Musk. There are academic historians who seriously pick Lincoln, responsible for the deaths of over 1M, who shut down opposition papers and suspended habeas corpus, as the "best" POTUS.

Does this mean you think "Tariff Man/bump stock/ $7.8 T debt" Trump is a conservative who wants to reduce taxes, protect gun rights, and reduce the size and power of the federal government?

The relevant question was NOT whether contraceptives were good or bad but as the dissents of Griswold noted, the right of the federal government to trump state laws over a made-up right to privacy not enumerated in the Constitution. States are not likely to restrict BC today.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 5, 2024
No. This is Constitutional illiteracy. It's true that the Griswold decision was/is flawed for much the same reasons. Health regulation from a Constitutional basis is a state, not federal responsibility. Contraceptives have been around since at least the nineteenth century

Personally, I don't like nationalist rituals associated with sports. I think the NFL is trying to virtue signal here after the Kaepernick and Flores kerfuffles. This could be perceived as divisive, although I personally don't mind it. https://t.co/36OFIimeoJ
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 6, 2024
This is economic illiterate rubbish. No, Harris' policies, including punitive, globally noncompetitive tax rate hikes are like eating the seed corn of economic growth. granted, most academic economists today are leftist. Kamala would put hurdles in front of sprinters.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 6, 2024
Idiot! You leftist morons are making an issue over Trump mistaking someone from an old photo, probably with small faces. Here's a side by side; they are both blond and have similar features. But you would rather vote for someone who got 3% of the vote in 2020 & no PS executive pic.twitter.com/C3QLOuSaFQ
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 8, 2024
I don't see the resemblance. Trump's eyesight at 78 probably isn't very good, never mind his memories of an ex-wife from 20 years ago.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 6, 2024
I am not impressed with your shallow understanding of one's "type". I've used the term to reflect differences in personality, faith/morals, etc. I'm also suspicious of the clarity of facial features, etc. from a photo.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 6, 2024
There are lots of things to disagree about with Trump, but it seems most leftists are more obsessed with sexual misconduct allegations. I came back to X to find a flood of nasty reply tweets of "rapist Trump" & "porn model Melania". BTW the Carroll jury: sex abuse, not rape.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
So, Darth Vader was the architect of GW Bush's ill-fated Gulf War interventions. Trump never cared for Bush or Cheney. Cheney endorsing Harris is about as helpful as a neo-Nazi endorsing Trump. https://t.co/SpDrqCIxp6

The real answer is to lower barriers to entry such as any occupational licensing , encourage flexible work scheduling, remote work, etc, However, this is more a state/local issue than a federal one
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
FNC continues to feed into xenophobia. Subtitle under the latest job numbers: words to the effect foreigners job gains, Americans job losses. This implied zero-sum game is a knowing distortion. The percent of immigrants is less than in the 19th century; unauthorized < 25% of that
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
Congratulations to my University of Texas (first Master's) beating defending national champ Michigan at their home 31-12; it wasn't as close as the score indicates since Michigan got its only touchdown late in the game. It was so bad MI played 4th down deep in own territory
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
Gaslit by Trump, lawyers and Trump's Justice Department. Quayle had also won office statewide like Pence. So, Pence was probably looking for some reassurance he had been doing the right thing
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
Typo. Clear from context. Quayle didn't talk to Trump on Christmas; Pence did. These leftist idiots are giving Quayle undue credit, when in fact Pence rejected Trump before ever talking to Quayle. That's just a fact.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
This is an outright lie by a leftist troll refusing to give Pence the credit he deserves. The Woodward claim simply discusses a late Dec. call. The fact is Quayle on the record told Trump on Christmas he couldn't do it AS HE HAD REPEATEDLY SAID earlier (cf. Smith indictment).
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
I don't know NY state law and how or why the SCOTUS immunity ruling may be relevant. Trump's issue in NY has to do with a hush money decision when Trump was still a private citizen. I don't know the timing of the misstated business transactions but they aren't protected.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) September 7, 2024
How stupid are Trump's lawyers? They want to dismiss the NY (not federal) business fraud convictions based on SCOTUS' Presidential immunity ruling. First of all, SCOTUS deals with the US Constitution, not the NY state one. Second, Trump's fraud was private, not official conduct.
