Scrutinizing the medical miracles of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes
When I grew up as a Catholic boy, there was always veneration for Mary, Jesus' mother, and there are legendary alleged appearances. In our hemisphere, there is Our Lady of Guadalupe. In Western Europe, the most famous are the nineteenth century apparitions of Lourdes and the twentieth century ones in Fatima.
Sadly, I've never been to any of these sites, but when my USAF NCO dad was stationed in Europe (I was in middle school) we attempted a springtime pilgrimage to Lourdes but our Volkswagen van broke down on the way.
