This was an unusually good week on Twitter, probably the best since I started my second Twitter account last summer, as I scored multiple "viral tweets" (>1K impressions), including two on, of all, things, an Ann Coulter hashtag. I really don't know why these tweets are more popular than others I write. I did think my critical tweet on John McCain was well-written.
If there's anything stupider than a diehard Trumpkin, it's an idiot "progressive" who sees everything as "racist".

"Civil War"
No, the "progressives" hype the kerfuffle over sore loser Trump as more than it is. Trump was always a self-serving, corrupt bastard. He happens to be the 800-lb. gorilla in the White House. He won't be for much longer, and he'll be done in national politics.

"Civil War"
I happen to support term limits, but corruption has more to do with the size and power of the central government.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 10, 2020
I believe the public would be served by a cap on non-consecutive terms for any legislative public office, a single term for President and limited-term contracts for judicial appointments. I would expand recall options.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 10, 2020
"Term Limits"
You are a liar. Bush v Gore did not decide the election; they did rule that Gore's attempt to cherrypick Dem-controlled precincts to find enough votes to overturn the election was unconstitutional. Bush had won multiple statewide machine-scored recounts, and journalists confirmed
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 10, 2020
Wow, it turns out "progressives" are ageist over the senior senator from California; I thought the politically correct reject ageism. There are legitimate reasons to prefer limited terms in public office, but with the exception of Obama, voters have voted older people

As a pro-life Catholic, I reject State-sponsored executions. The fact is 5 SCOTUS justices are Catholic: so much for Catholics imposing their moral beliefs on others.

The fact that the private sector, not the public sector, has developed an effective vaccine within months of a pandemic outbreak is a remarkable accomplishment; we need free markets.

"US advisory panel recommends approving Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for emergency distribution"
No, I didn't have to take my written and oral doctoral comprehensives or my dissertation defense in Latin or Greek but I had to be fluent in geek. Epstein does have a point: EdD's and MD are professional, not academic, doctorates like my PhD.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 12, 2020
I don't understand the Trump cult. He's always been a self-serving demagogue, with no core principles, beyond his personal power and glory.

People who look the other way when the American government spies on innocent American citizens are traitors. Snowden is a hero of American liberty.

Pfizer's success had zero to do with you; it happened despite you. There is no 6 years on schedule. You just made that shit up.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 14, 2020
"Rick Santorum" was a lackluster incumbent who got his clock cleaned by Casey and became a name as head of the Anybody But Romney movement in 2012; he stood zero chance of beating Obama. He continues to be irrelevant. I think CNN uses him as a token Republican like FNC's Dems.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 14, 2020
Congratulations to POTUS-elect Joe Biden. Politically we share nothing beyond a common disdain for Donald Trump. I'm sure Trump will continue to tweet, but his moment has passed.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 14, 2020
"Bill Barr" is fired for not being part of Trump's Kiss My Ass Club, patterned after WWE owner Vince McMahon. There is a threat of telling the truth about the fact Trump got his ass kicked by Joe Biden of all people.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 14, 2020
There is a reason I waited until today to publish my latest post. No, it's not about the electoral college...https://t.co/nZnRZXGqCg

Well, the real issue with Mrs. Biden having an EdD is not having an advanced degree or using its title, but the crappy state of American education in general.

"Ben Shapiro"
As a libertarian, I have no clue why my favorite senator Rand Paul is pandering to Sore Loser Trump, the least libertarian man to ever occupy the White House. He's losing credibility to the very man who in 2016 claimed to have bought him off by donating to charity.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 16, 2020
"Rand Paul"
The most interesting thing I've seen on this thread is finding out some "progressives" are actually getting sanctioned by Twitter over uncivility.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 16, 2020
"Ann Coulter"
The most amusing thing about this trend is some Russiaphobes are demanding the appointment of a food czar, now that they've managed to throw millions of people out of work with their failed shutdowns.

There's some typical populist outrage that VP Pence and his wife are going to take the newly available COVID-19 vaccine. I think it's far more important that public officials embrace the vaccine in the hopes of promoting and achieving herd immunity ASAP.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 17, 2020
The rumor that Trump will refuse to depart the White House on Inauguration Day is amusing. The guy has spent half his time in office going to pep rallies, his Florida estate, and various golf courses.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 17, 2020
But just in case, is the guy who shot UBL available?
"Secret Service"
At least they didn't get it by stealing at gunpoint by the government. Now THAT is immoral. It's the private sector that drives down poverty, not the political elite professional politicians.

Haley is wrong about sustaining our counterproductive anti-China policy and our tilt for meddling in Cuban and Venezuelan affairs. Biden should also avoid things like Trump's provocative unilateral recognition of Jerusalem. https://t.co/0HgW07vzEy

Ha, ha! I just saw someone refer to Trumpkins as MAGATS. It reminds me of a high school teacher's endearing reference to students as 'maggots'. So, let's go with MAGGATS.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 17, 2020
"The Patriot Party"
There is something arbitrary, pretentious, self-serving and divisive about labeling oneself a patriot. Patriotism is not in rooted in collective symbols like in flags, anthems and leaders but in fidelity to our ideals of individual rights and the rule of law
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 17, 2020

You're full of shit. Romney went public over not voting for Trump's reelection.https://t.co/svxTmLsNwU

Are you insane? McCain's campaign in 2007 collapsed and he barely beat former governors Romney and Huckabee. Romney. Romney had to weather multiple challengers like scandal-bound Gingrich and defeated former Senator Santorum. There are no strong candidates who could beat Obama.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
The Republican Party didn't make me a Libertarian.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
Donald J. Trump did. https://t.co/SUqvlCgt62
McCain had issues, being an inconsistent conservative, e.g., his support for campaign finance "reform", championing TARP, opposition to tax cuts, and embrace of the military industrial complex. He ran a grossly incompetent 2008 campaign (TARP suspension, Palin).
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
"John McCain"
Sore Loser Trump thinks that he bought the votes of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett with their nominations. He's a corrupt, contemptible bastard who has never understood the concept of the rule of law https://t.co/4TzIH2Splz

Immigration enhances our economy and is more consistent with liberty.
We have elected a RINO President who has added a third to the national debt and expanded unnecessary military spending.
We have a corrupt POTUS who tried to extort Ukraine.

Why would anyone believe anything Michael Flynn says given the fact he has confessed to lying under oath? His statements over the election are irrelevant and incompetent; it's the quid pro quo of a self-serving Trump-pardoned individual.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
The fact of the matter is Hunter Biden's involvement with Burisma was a compelling conflict of interest while Joe was Vice-President. That Joe Biden did not prevail on Hunter to resign under the circumstances was a breach of ethics. It may not have been illegal but..

But more to the point, no one ever complained to Dr. Guillemette about their aches or pains or asked for a prescription.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
This demand for the government to give people money is egregious behavior. Why should the federal government pay off the consequences of economically-damaging state/local regulations? Robbing other people or your grandchildren is grossly immoral.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
"MUST ACT NOW"
I don't care how other countries spend money they don't have. I do care about your reaching into my wallet or putting the bill on our grandchildren.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) December 18, 2020
If you were intelligent, you would know over 70% of federal spending is on individual benefits. This country was not based on morally corrupt transferism, a violation of property rights. The crony capitalism you cite is an artifact of Big Government. Educate yourself!

Says the guy who helped The Impeached One add a third to the national debt, enslaving our grandchildren.
