Well, neo-con Bill Kristol isn't in the LP, and I'm glad. I do think Mace's fearmongering discrimination against Ms. McBride isn't justified by empirical evidence & it is appalling that the public sector itself violates equal protection under the law.https://t.co/1MjOZnoG8R pic.twitter.com/l9iHcb2jQn

Well, there are certain reasons to be wary of Chris Christie, especially the bridge kerfuffle. but the fact is Christie is a past US attorney and infinitely better qualified to serve as AG than Gaetz or Bondi. Trump has a history of bad hires, but he never takes responsibility.

Well, I originally didn't want Hegseth, but this would be an unexpected silver lining. https://t.co/U1VMneUOT8

We are still waiting on the appeals court to reverse Judge Cannon's unlawful dismissal of the classified documents case. I would expect Smith to move that case is also dismissed without prejudice.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 26, 2024
Why did Jack Smith motion to dismiss the J6 case against criminal Trump in the J6 case? I'm not a lawyer, but NBC indicated that it's Justice Dept policy not to prosecute a sitting POTUS. The case is dismissed without prejudice meaning it can be refiled in Jan. 2029.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 26, 2024
Actually the falsified business records case is criminal, not civil. The Carroll case is civil. I don't think the presidential immunity ruling applies to Trump's falsification of business records, not a Presidential duty. I do think the charges should be reduced to misdemeanors.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 26, 2024
The cases aren't fake. Trump is a criminal. The civil cases in New York state have not been dismissed.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 26, 2024
The OP troll is an idiot. The Trumpkin Judge Cannon unlawfully dismissed Trump's classified docs case which will be reversed. The J6 case is being dismissed without prejudice.
Okay, dumbass. You do realize "without prejudice" means files can be refiled when Criminal Trump leaves office, right? Smith just won't prosecute while Trump is in office.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 26, 2024
No , dismissing a case doesn't imply criminal Trump has been exonerated. The case was dismissed so Trump is not prosecuted during his term. It can be refiled in Jan. 2029.

"NOT GUILTY"
Trump is ignorantly continuing to scapegoat immigrants for problems. In fact, returning American tourists contribute to fentanyl imports. Immigrants commit proportionately fewer crimes than born citizenshttps://t.co/vOg8yQ3Tk9
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 26, 2024
You are an economic illiterate. Tariffs are essentially American taxes on foreign goods and materials. Trump is corrupt, robbing Peter to pay Paul. Much imports go into American products, keeping prices low and globally competitive. Canada and Mexico will reciprocate tariffs.

A typical unexpected consequence of public climate policy: I was a junior UTEP professor and right across the river in a Juarez slum, people were burning tires for heat. The breeze carried pollutants to campus; one of my colleagues had asthma and could barely breathe outside.

Stossel has a new video pointing out how red states Florida and Alabama, under pressure from conventional meat producers, have banned lab-grown meat. We don't need the Nanny State, from the left or the right, restricting consumer choices. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

O'Keefe is pandering to crackpot anti-vaxxers & other right-wing dimwits. COVID-19 rapidly mutates, inventing new ways to evade natural or acquired (vaccine) immunity. I don't read motives into the Gray Lady's headlines here. The rabbi had been missing and was found dead. How did he die? Was it from natural causes? We need more information. https://t.co/D63UfMMRfx
I didn't vote for Trump or Harris. I don't think the reason Harris lost was because of no Rogan interview. Trump had decades of media experience. Admitting she couldn't identify alternative policies from Biden hurt her. It was a change election: economy & the border? Carville https://t.co/fvpzJM0iGz

I have a good immigrant friend in Silicon Valley. We were working for the same company but he was on the green card track and I was a subcontractor. My boss was willing to pay a higher rate for RN but only if he got all of the increase. Instead, the company reassigned RN.

I have a former fellow PhD candidate friend TK, who was a social liberal. He was fine with paying more for fast food so workers got better wages. Not me. I have a budget, and I'm more likely to pack lunch. Pricing a teen out of a job doesn't get him job experience.

The AP has called 2 more Congressional races. CA-45 was a late vote flip to D, and Miller-Meeks (R) won her second squeaker in a row for IA-1. That makes the House total 220 R-214 D. I think that leaves CA-13 uncalled but it's another race where a Dem has taken a late lead.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 27, 2024
The anti-vaxxer OP is not quoting Fauci, his lawyers or a judge but the crackpot anti-vaxxer RFK, Jr. himself. This beyond unethical, not crediting the alleged sources.

Trump's "majority" had been trending down from 50.2% with late-counted ballots. A more current is from Cook's Political Report where Trump's 77,108,788 is 49.83% of 154,734,028 votes. Harris' 74,709,131 had 48.28%. The rest were third-party.https://t.co/HlOeeOlMT7

I don't like Russia's invasion, but Biden's recent approval of US missiles to shoot into Russia with the guidance of US specialists exacerbates Russian sensibilities not unlike JFK in the Cuba missile crisis. (3/3)
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 27, 2024
It's more complex. During the USSR days, Russians migrated to Ukraine and Crimea was reassigned to Ukraine. After dissolution of the USSR, the US committed to non-expansion of NATO. Then in 2014 Obama supported the overthrow of the pro-Russian government. (1/3)

I don't see why Cheney is the politician of this year, when she isn't in elective office. Nobody gives a damn about Trump's obsession over the fact he indisputably lost the 2020 election. He'll try to abuse Presidential authority, but he'll lose the House in the midterms and find himself impeached again. https://t.co/pMkgpQUsqg

Half of the payroll tax (employer half) is untaxed. So, NO, Trump is WRONG. The limited tax revenue from higher-income senior citizens contributes to the current cash flow in social security funding already in the red needing funds from dwindling reserves due to deplete by 2034.

I don't think Trumpkins know what a real landslide is like: LBJ in 1964, Nixon in 1972, Reagan in 1980, 1984. Trump got less than 50% of the vote & beat Harris by 1.6 pts. Harris had the lowest VP job approval only in the race since July. He had no coattails, 4 Senate seat losses

Alabama farmers found themselves unable to recruit replacement American workers, and some who did were dishonest, e.g., double-counting their harvested volumes, or quit early on the job. Farmers lost their crops. Consumers had to pay more at the grocery. https://t.co/HaXT9TCg9l

At least Congressmen Mike Waltz and Elise Stefanik are joining the Trump Administration, Matt Gaetz earlier resigned his House seat and the GOP only has a 220-seat caucus, behind in the last uncalled race.
— raguillemette (@raguillemette) November 30, 2024
Trump has a very narrow Congressional majority and really can't claim a mandate. He couldn't get Gaetz through the Senate. If he overplays his hand, the paper-thin House majority will almost certainly flip in 2026 like it did in 2018, costing him 2 impeachments

If you think RINO Trump is a "constitutional conservative", you're insane. Trump is the same hypocritical dunce who chose neo-con John Bolton and Marco Rubio.

Anyone who thinks Romney and Ryan are "establishment" Republicans is absurd. Romney lost the 2008 nomination to McCain and barely survived 2012. Ryan is the only politician to seriously tackle entitlement reform. RINO Trump still lacks the balls to discuss it.
