REPORTER: "Where are you getting your information that the fact it's fraudulent or the fact that they're distorted and edited unfairly?"
WHITE HOUSE: "Based on the public comments of Planned Parenthood who has indicated that, uh, the views that are represented in the video are entirely inconsistent, uh, with that organizations policies and with the high ethical standard that they live up to."
REPORTER: "So would it be unfair to say that you're simply taking your talking points from Planned Parenthood on these videos?"
WHITE HOUSE: "Well, uh, again, uh, I guess I, uh, I would suggest that you, um, consult with Planned Parenthood for the details of their policies, uh, and I'm merely repeating what I've seen... that they've said, uh, and has been reported publicly about what they've said."

RIP, Lynn Anderson

I remember hearing this song for the first time as a young teen and I believe I have a copy of her album in my LP collection (in storage). I was into country/pop at the time--Johnny Cash, Elvis, Mac Davis, Dolly Parton, etc. I was years from a serious relationship, so it wasn't so much the lyrics, but the arrangement and performance.

(IPI). Thanks to a contract extension, negotiations between AFSCME Council 31 and the state of Illinois will likely continue for another 2 months.
While Governor Bruce Rauner is asking for sensible reforms to bring the state’s financial house in order, AFSCME continues to push for contracts the state simply can’t afford.
It used to be called civil SERVICE. It wasn't supposed to be a way to Easy Street. Stealing from the public in the form of unions in public employment is a guaranteed ticket to serfdom. Shame on those who have elected this crap time and again. Go Bruce.
